Hear it book into Wix Bookings

A caller wants a haircut this week. Press play - the receptionist reads the live Wix calendar and books them in.

Dramatization of a typical call. Captions shown.

Why this one is different

It reads your Wix site. You don't fill in a thing.

Every other AI receptionist starts you on a blank script and a long questionnaire - list your services, type your prices, write out your hours, describe your team. This one is a Wix app. The moment you install it, it opens your own site and takes what it needs.

That is the whole difference between an afternoon of setup and about a minute.

Changed your prices or added a service? Re-read your site from the app settings and the receptionist is up to date on the next call.

The half you never see

Your Wix site books the people who click. This books the people who call.

Your booking page works around the clock for anyone willing to use it. Plenty of customers would still rather call - to ask a question first, to describe what they need, or because they are in the car. Right now those calls go to voicemail, and voicemail loses them.

Setup

Four steps, about a minute

There is no scripting, no integration to wire up, and nothing to hand over to a developer.

01

Add it from Wix

Pick which of your sites it goes on and hit add. No API keys, no account to create, nothing to connect.

02

It reads your site

Business name, services, team, opening hours, time zone and language - taken straight off your live Wix site.

03

Pick a voice and a number

Five voices and six languages. Choose a country and area code, or let it pick a number for you.

04

Publish the number

Put it on your site, your Google Business Profile, and your door. Every call from that moment is answered.

On the call

A front desk that knows the business

Booking is the headline. Getting there means answering everything a caller asks first.

Headline

Books the appointment

It reads your live Wix availability, offers slots that are genuinely open, and creates the booking in Wix Bookings before the caller hangs up.

Answers what you offer

What the service includes, how long it runs, what it costs - answered from the catalogue already on your Wix site.

Books with the right person

Callers who ask for a particular stylist, therapist, or technician by name get booked with them.

Hours, address, the basics

"Are you open Sunday?" and "where are you?" are handled without you writing a single line of script.

After hours and overflow

It picks up when you are closed, mid-appointment, or already on the other line - the calls you were never going to reach.

In their language

Answers in English, Hebrew, French, German, Portuguese, or Spanish - you choose when you set it up.

Not a message. A booking.

The appointment appears in your Wix calendar

An answering service emails you a note and you still have to ring the customer back. This writes the appointment into the same Wix Bookings calendar your online bookings already go to - same services, same team, same slots. You open your dashboard and it is simply there.

Nothing about your setup changes. Your services, your team, your working hours and your booking rules stay exactly where they are. The receptionist is another way for appointments to arrive - not another calendar to keep in step.

The specifics

Pick a voice, pick a number

You hear each voice before you choose it, and the number is yours - a real local line, not a shared one.

United StatesCanadaUnited KingdomIsraelFranceGermanyPortugalAustraliaBrazilSpainMexicoNetherlands

Numbers in the US, Canada and Israel go live straight away. Other countries need a short carrier registration first, which usually takes a few business days - the app collects your business address during setup and tells you where you are up to.

Who it's for

Any Wix Bookings business whose phone still rings

Salons, barbers & spas

Cuts, colour, nails, treatments - booked by stylist, with the gaps from cancellations filled.

Clinics & wellness

Dental, physio, chiro, med-spa - answers intake questions and books the right practitioner.

Studios & classes

Yoga, pilates, personal training - answers what is on when, and books the session.

Trades & home services

Plumbers, cleaners, detailers - takes the job while your hands are full on another one.

Wix App Market

It is a Wix app, so it behaves like one

You install it, manage it, and pay for it in the same place you manage the rest of your site. If you decide it is not for you, one click removes it.

  • Billed through Wix on your existing Wix account - there is no second bill and no card to hand us
  • No Talk To My Agent signup, no API key, nothing to connect by hand
  • Reads your services and availability through official Wix interfaces
  • You set the greeting, the tone, and what it should do outside opening hours
  • Uninstall from Wix whenever you like and the phone number is released with it

Careful with your customers

The receptionist confirms the caller's name and the slot out loud before it books anything, so a mishearing gets caught on the call rather than in your calendar. Calls are encrypted in transit, and the agent can only do what you allow it to do.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers

Does it actually book into my Wix Bookings calendar, or just take a message?+

It books. The receptionist reads your live Wix availability during the call, offers slots that are genuinely open, confirms the details out loud, and creates the appointment in Wix Bookings. It shows up in your dashboard next to the bookings that came through your website.

Do I need Wix Bookings on my site?+

Yes. The receptionist books into Wix Bookings, so your site needs Wix Bookings installed with at least one service set up. The app checks for it during setup and tells you if anything is missing.

What do I actually have to set up?+

Almost nothing. The app reads your business name, services, team, opening hours, time zone and language straight from your Wix site. You choose a voice, a language, and a phone number, and that is the setup - it takes about a minute.

Do I need a Talk To My Agent account or an API key?+

No. This is a Wix app end to end. There is no separate signup, no API key, and nothing to connect by hand. You install it from Wix and manage it from your Wix dashboard.

How is it billed?+

Through the Wix App Market, on the Wix account you already have, with a free trial to start. There is no second invoice and no card given to us directly. Uninstalling from Wix ends it and releases the phone number.

Can I keep the number my customers already have?+

You get a new local number from the app - choose the country and area code, or let it pick one. If you would rather keep publishing your existing number, forward that line to the new one with your current phone provider and the receptionist answers it.

Can it reschedule or cancel an appointment over the phone?+

Not yet. This version answers questions and books new appointments. Rescheduling and cancelling by phone are planned for a future release - for now those changes are made in Wix Bookings the way they always have been.

What happens after hours, or when I am already on the phone?+

It answers anyway. The receptionist is on 24 hours a day, so the calls you were never going to reach - evenings, weekends, mid-appointment, or when two people ring at once - get answered and booked instead of going to voicemail.

Does it really sound human?+

Yes. It speaks with natural pacing, listens rather than talking over people, and copes with a caller who changes their mind mid-sentence. There is no menu tree and no script-reading. You pick the voice during setup and hear it before you commit.
