Need one more person? Bring them onto the call.

During a verified private call, ask your agent to dial a colleague, specialist, or contact and bridge them into the conversation. The agent handles the extra call leg while you stay on the line.

Move from discussion to collaboration in the same call.

Useful when a private agent call uncovers a decision, question, or task that needs another person now.

No call juggling

Stay in the original conversation while the agent creates and connects the additional phone leg.

Bring in the right expertise

Add a colleague, vendor, family member, or specialist when their input is the shortest path forward.

Owner-controlled scope

The capability is limited to connect-capable, verified-owner calls and is never exposed on a public receptionist line.

A controlled bridge, created on demand.

The participant is dialed as a separate guest leg and joined only after ownership and capability checks pass.

  1. 01

    You request the connection

Ask the private agent to bring a specific person or number into the live call.

  2. 02

    The deployment is verified

The platform checks that the call belongs to the deployment and that live connect is enabled.

  3. 03

    A guest leg is dialed

The participant receives a separate outbound call with bounded, short-lived connection state.

  4. 04

    The calls are bridged

When the guest answers, the legs are joined and the conversation continues together.

Powerful enough to deserve a hard boundary.

Dialing a third party spends money and reaches outside the current call. Talk To My Agent enforces this capability in code rather than asking the model to remember a policy.

Never public

The connect tool is not registered for public-mode calls, so an external caller cannot ask the agent to dial arbitrary numbers.

Ownership checked

The bridge request is tied to the deployment and primary call before a participant can be connected.

Duplicate-resistant

Connection requests are claimed per primary and participant pair to reduce repeated legs from retries or barge-in.

Live connect questions

Can customers on a public line use this?

No. Live connect is intentionally unavailable in public mode. It is for a verified owner speaking to their private agent.

Is this the same as receptionist call transfer?

No. This capability brings a third party into an owner-controlled private call. It should not be described as a general public-line warm-transfer feature.

Does the participant need an app?

No. The participant receives a normal phone call and joins by answering it.

Can I disable it?

Yes. The tool appears only on deployments and calls where the multiparty capability is explicitly enabled.
